Off to good start at German chess congress for schools

Raindropchess® made a favourable impression on many teachers attending the German Chess Association’s annual chess congress for schools, which was held in Hamburg on November 6th.

Having experienced the game, many teachers clearly saw its potential for enhancing the chess skills of a broad group of schoolgoing children. The teachers’ enjoyment of Raindropchess® will also help increase the popularity of regular chess. The congress was held at Hamburg’s Stadteilschule Barmbek, where many contacts were established with schools and organisations planning to include Raindropchess® in their programmes. The German Chess Federation has also expressed an interest in the game. Moreover, a local entrepreneur has plans to set up a Raindropchess® website for Germany. We will keep you posted on any developments.
