Practicing Game Tactics
A number of different game tactics and skills - useful for both Raindropchess® and regular chess - can be practiced. For instance, you can choose to use only a selection of the gamecards and their corresponding chessmen, such as two Knights, four pawns and the King. This practices the cooperation between the Knights. The opponent might choose to use the Bishops instead of the Knights.
Another example is using only pawns and the King. This focuses on optimal cooperation between the pawns and using their special weapon: promotion. In this set-up, the promotion pieces might appear on the board en masse.
Alternatively, the (selection of) cards can be drawn in a specific order, which also means the King appears at a predetermined moment.
