Succes in France
Camping la Rochade introduced succesfully Raindropchess® at the National Youth Chess Tournament in Montlucon (France)
From 17-24 April the young French chessplayers could play the new chessvariant Raindropchess®. It was introduced by Rike Armas, owner of the chess shop Camping la Rochade. At a French website you can read a report about the presentation. Not only the young ches players enjoyed the game, also many parents and chess professionals. In a short film Rike also presented the game to the president of the French Chess Federation, Jean-Claude Moinght. He plays a game against the young GM Fabien Libiszewski. See the pictures below and the short film.
Rike and Jules Armas have a nice campsite in the south of France. It is very family-friendly. Also this year Camping la Rochade presents a balanced programme for chess players and their friends and families.
